Resilience.
I was born in the south of France, near Toulon. I lived in extreme poverty. I slept outside, I knew the cold nights. I went from one odd job to the next.
Projection.
A storm crosses France in the early 2000s. It brings down millions of trees. I have an idea: collect the wood, sell it in the south for three years, then close it down. To finance it, I move up to Rennes and work for the PSA group on an assembly line. The project never happened. It was my first attempt at building something.
Timing.
The internet arrives. It's a revelation. I have some basics in computing and the web is starting to take off. I jump in. I become a website designer. Around the same time, I have my first child, my eldest.
Independence.
With the internet, projects multiply. I go freelance. I work for all kinds of companies, including Beta Gouv.
Balance.
Ten years of baseball. MVP the first year. I discover I have good proprioception, good balance. I'm not the best, but I do two or three things that matter.
Humility.
In 2018, my twins: a boy, a girl. Both extremely precious.
